Bronze Figural Sculpture on Marble Block Base SOLD
Solid bronze statue award mounted on Carrara marble base. The polished bronze modernist figure is holding a relief of Otto Sirgo, the Cuban born actor and director of Mexican theater and telenovelas, for whom this award is named after. The letters "ACRIN" are also present on the relief and stand for the "Association de Criticos de Norteamerica". This is a fantastic work of bronze art standing erect on a white Carrara marble base. An inscribed signature on the back of the figure is not discernible. Dimensions: Figure alone 13.75" tall x 3" wide x 2" deep. Figure including marble base: 19.75" tall x 4" wide x 4" deep (marble base).
